Born in Caracas on April 23, 1926. Studies drawing and painting at the School of Plastic Arts from 1938 through 1940 under the guidance of Martin Durban. From 1947 through 1950, he is dedicated to perfecting his academic training in the United States with the Famous Artist Course in Westport, Connecticut. In 1975 he takes a complete course of bronze casting in Sarasota Florida.

He has participated in numerous national and international exhibitions, both collective and individual.
His name is included in L'Officiel des Galleries de Paris since its issue No. 137 in 1974.
The Encyclopedia of Venezuelan Painters published by EDIME, No. 25 was dedicated and focused on his life and works.
